The same Red Onions as the giardiniera but presented in purity. Medium-large sized onion, it has a sweet and decisive flavor, more acidic than the Borettane onions.

These are cleaned, washed, blanched, cut into thin slices, jarred and added with the preserving liquid. Finally pasteurized: 6 essential steps.

INGREDIENTS :

Red onion, Wine vinegar in amphora from Acetaia San Giacomo, High Oleic sunflower seed oil from Olearia Coppini, Ortrugo from Ziano Piacentino, Cheese and Peveri, Cervia salt, Sugar from beets grown and processed in Italy.

Recipe: Delicious Bread Crouton

-heat a slice of bread (preferably from Altamura) with Valdostana fontina.

-Once cooked, garnish with smoked cooked ham and finish with a few leaves of Bottega Pavesi sweet and sour red onion (here too, one of our artisanal balsamic condiments goes perfectly).
